I anticipate that Trump WILL be the nominee. It is not in Cruz’s or conservatism’s benefit to endorse him BEFORE he becomes the nominee.

Cruz will hold a lot of power at the convention where they will draft the platform and determine the direction of the party.

He wants to make sure that the direction is a conservative one. He is going to fight like hell to make sure many of Trump’s liberal policies don’t get adopted by the Republican party.

Policies like:

Gender neutral bathrooms
Support of pro-homosexual policies
Funding of Planned Parenthood
Universal heathcare
Government mandate of health insurance
Touch back Amnesty
Abortions for babies of rape and incest
etc...

Once the convention is over, the conservative platform is protected from Trump and he becomes the nominee, I hope that Cruz endorses him. If he doesn’t I will be disappointed.

Name a couple things that the platform has changed for the better, should be easy.

When Dole was asked about the life plank in the platform he replied. No one ever reads that thing.

Good old Cruzie talking points.

We’ll see what your tune is after the convention. I suspect that there will be lots of twisting to try to justify voting for Hillary because so many of the never-Trump goons hate Donald Trump more than they love their own children.
