I’ve seen Cruz speak twice since he left the race, once in my hometown and once at the Texas state convention which was a Cruz love fest. He really didn’t say a word about Trump at either event. At the convention the news showed a reporter asking him whether he was going to help Trump and he walked past the reporter and said he hadn’t decided what to do. He is hardly going out of his way to dump on Trump. He seems to have moved on.
Glad to hear that. Initially he was my #1 choice. Then it became embarrassing to listen to him when no matter what he was asked, he started in on Trump, sounding obsessed.
That having been said, his horrendous, tin-eared gaffes, have been remarkable...especially blaming Trump for that mess in Chicago!That one had to take the cake.
