Mormon voters have historically been one of the more reliably conservative voting blocs in the country. However, over the past several years they’ve started to seem susceptible to leftist groupthink. While I don’t think they’re so far gone as to elect this person, I would not be surprised to see it happen at some point in the future.
I agree with what you stated; however, there are the cases of Orrin Hatch and Dirty Hairy. Neither one is Conservative. Mike Lee makes up for that.
