My internet is down again so posting from my phone so please overlook any typos. I watch HGTV quite a bit and from what I’ve learned quartz is better because it doesn’t stain, have to be treated yearly, and is less expensive. You might want to weigh the pros and cons of the different materials.

quartz, I’ll check into it. I don’t really like granite - it reminds me of the materialism I left in California.
