People all over the world (everybody)
Join hands (join)
Start a Trump train, Trump train
People all over the world (all the world, now)
Join hands (Trump ride)
Start a Trump train (Trump ride), Trump train
The next stop that we make will be soon
Tell all the folks in Russia, and China, too
Don’t you know that it’s time to get on board
And let this train keep on riding, riding on through
Well, well
Shave and a haircut, two bits.
I mean, what else you got to do? You’re snowed in.
I live in Maine.
The problem in the late Spring is the black flies.
My family owns a big chunk of woodland, and the black flies....bigger than fleas but smaller than a housefly; sort of like gnats.....swarm around your head like dirt swarms around the “Pig Pen” character in the “Peanuts” / “Charlie Brown” comic strips.
Fortunately, the black flies disappear after 3 - 4 weeks.
Then it’s mosquitos.
You’re right about the ocean.....it’s Titanic cold!
This is catching on!
Yes, Obama brought his wife and kids to Maine about five or six years ago.
He flew on Air Force One to Bangor International Airport and then transferred to a smaller plane to fly into the Bar Harbor / Trenton airport, which has rows of private jets in the summer months when the well-to-do fly to their summer estates on the Maine coast.
Obama visited a couple of different ice cream shops during his visit.
When he came here, the roads near his oceanfront hotel were closed for the duration of his visit, which annoyed the local people. More than once, people I didn’t know came up to me and complained about Obama and how they were late for work because of him, etc.
A legally blind woman in her 80’s complained to me, too.
When Obama was visiting those ice cream shops on Main Street in Bar Harbor, the Secret Service would not let the woman carry her white cane while she walked down Main Street, and yelled at her grand-daughter for walking on the same side of the street as his excellency. Sheesh.
Yes, I likey!!!!!!!!
Heh! Snow, yes, but not snowed in! When in, do something productive, like learn how to play this (sort of a train song) ... Jeff Beck - People Get Ready
A little trivia, if no one has beaten me to it yet. Acadia was once part of the French colonies in North America. It figures prominently in the poem “Evangeline”, by Longfellow. It is also the origin of the word “Cajuns” of Louisiana. When a lot of French left Acadia and settled in the south of the US, their ethnic name Acadians was corrupted into the now familiar word Cajuns.
Definitely go to the wedding in Wells. On the way stop in Ogunquit. It’s the town before Wells. Go to Barnacle Billy’s in Perkins Cove and get the best steamed lobster in the world! If you don’t like lobster - go to the Stonewall Kitchen store and gardens, try their samples, and have a wonderful sandwich and lemonade out in their garden. Not hungry - drive one town n’east of Wells and visit George and Barbara Bush in Kennebunkport.
I was gone for a bit. Yes. NIKK does.
You had me at best steamed lobster in the world!
I liked that, too! :-)

Don’t worry, someone on here insisted on calling Nebraska NB instead of NE and that would have been even further off!
