Here comes the “Let it go already!” crowd.
He was 18-22 during the war. He was in no position of authority, he was just there.
A little genocide, give or take 170,000, never hurt anyone./s
Here comes the Let it go already! crowd. .................. LOL, there can’t be too many of these guys left, what happens when there are no more, are we going after the ones who ran the gulags, and who killed 10,000 officers and intellectuals in Poland? Yeah, those nasty Germans deserve to be hung or shot, but why have those nasty progressive Communists been given a free pass? Not even a peep from the media? The Turks killed over 1 Million Armenians, they get more press coverage than the 25 Million Russians? I wonder, why is that? When it comes to the atrocities committed by the Stalinist’s, it gets washed aside.
Maybe we should dig up dead Nazis and violate their bodies, or better yet, let’s execute the descendant of Nazis.
Then everything will be alright in the universe.
I’m not sure that you can punish someone who has already had 71 years for freedom.
Sure, you could execute him, but you are not depriving him of anything but a few more days at the end of a life in a worn out body, and a mind not at the top.
This was an extremely proficient young man; !70,000 deaths under his belt by age 24. People should be brought to justice for their crimes. However, there seems to be something more at work here. Russians directly responsible for the Katyn massacre were still receiving their pensions after the fall of the Soviet Union. Communist mass murder (Russia and China) both surpassed Nazi atrocities. Yet there are no museums dedicated to these crimes, no films and few books about them. American war crimes are totally erased (See the Morgenthau Plan).
Regards from the President of the Let it go already! Organization.
