Apologizing to liberals tells them one thing: “I’m guilty”. It gives them all the justification they need to hate you even more. The Catholic Church doesn’t have anything to apologize for. It’s done far more good in this world than any liberal atheist organization.

First Corinthians 6:9. Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men.

The Pope considers himself to be above the Apostle Paul.

I’m a thankful convert to Catholicism. Things this pope says remind me that throughout the history of the Church there have been good popes & bad ones.

The Cardinal needs to follow the Catechism:

Catechism of the Catholic Church

2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

It is statements and actions of fools like this that make me feel I did the ‘right thing’ several years ago.

I definitely could NOT stand by this guy - the further he goes the harder it is to ‘back’ him.

Should have known something was ‘wrong’ when his predecessor resigned to open the way for him.

At least Benedict II admitted he was ‘crazy’ -well unstable- and the real nut case got installed.

BTW... Before any of the ‘Pope Backers’ try to flame me, explain how blind support for ‘His Craziness’ is any different than the Libs standing behind & alongside of their ‘anointed leaders’ no matter how ridiculous they sound.

I just wonder if the same people who are/were against Blacks for voting for BO just because he was Black are any different from People who voted for JFK just because he was Catholic.

There is NO difference ‘voting with blinders on is the same no matter who it is in favor of’.

Folks, I did apply for the nomination to become Pope last time. I might have been a little late in applying and I hadn’t been to church for over 40 years, so it didn’t go well. I would have done better than this guy. Sheesh.

Contrary to Pope Francis’ misguided political correctness to be nice to LGBT people, Matthew 18:15-17 shows us that Jesus taught that a congregation is ultimately supposed to treat unrepentant sinners like pagans and tax collectors.

In fact, note that in 1 Corinthians 5 Paul reflected on Jesus’ teaching about unrepentant sinners by reprimanding the Corinthian Christians for not expelling a sexual offender, verse 1 Corinthians 5:13 based on God’s command to “purge the evil from among you as evidenced by Deuteronomy 19:19.

The Pope also evidently doesn’t understand that 1 Corrinthians 15:33 warns not to be misled, “bad company corrupts good morals.”

Now the Pope would like to apologize to Pontius Pilate, Caiaphus, and the entire Sanhedrin for the critical comments about them in the Bible and for Jesus’ noncooperation with them.

Only a matter of time before Pope Frankie sports his pair of his Village People black leather outfit and azz cut-out in public.

Yes, he’s pushing the envelope. And FAST. Waiting for the imminent announcement from Rome: “HAA!! IT WAS ALL A JOKE!!”

Romans 8:1-11 should be our model, the example of Jesus.

Unrepentant sin of ANY KIND in the church body should be dealt with as Paul details in his letters to the Corinthians.

The state, then, is now taking up the wrong headed notion of FORCING CELEBRATION of homosexual behavior. That use not healthy for society, either.

The church needs to work to maintain a balance. We need to witness the love of Jesus Christ while at the same time testifying to the truth of sexual wholeness.

We can start by following Paul’s words in Ephesians: husbands sacrificing for their wives and wives submitting to their husbands.

By this all people will know you are my disciples, it if you love one another.
