If I were Donald, however, I would be less and less worried about having to tie down every single solitary loose end. I’d just smile at Kasich, were he to get catty, and say bless your little heart or something like that. There is a way of letting people know they have become irrelevant that isn’t self centered and snotty.

I don’t see those two losers as loose ends. By being passive aggressive and not endorsing, they are taking away from Trump’s momentum and the perception of unity.

But no matter how much, or well, Trump does something, it will always be narrativized (yes, I think that is an appropriate and needed verb) by the media unfavorably.

There's no need to risk disunity at the convention. Also, every candidate swore they would endorse the winner.

If they can't say they will endorse Trump, why let them speak? The “self centered and snotty” behavior is coming only from Cruz and Kasich.
