Four people were killed and at least 26 others have been wounded from Saturday morning through early Sunday across the city, police said.

Among the victims were a 19-year-old pregnant woman shot along with three friends in Morgan Park; a 55-year-old man killed at a party in East Garfield Park; and a man shot by another person as they sat together in a car in Edgewater Beach.

The Morgan Park attack occurred at 11:43 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of West 114th Place, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

Liberals "explain" it by pointing out that gang members get their firearms from neighboring states, where gun control laws are more lax, by using straw purchasers and / or exploiting the "gun show loophole" therefore the need for tougher "national measures" such as an assault rifle ban and closing the "gun show loophole" etc etc....
