We did pretty good. Appliances, furniture and so forth.
Must admit...illegals probably framed the house, concrete work and sheet rock...grrrrr.
Oh Ya. I have watched as the developers hired mexicans to do the building around here. They paid them less than minimum wage. Whats the Mexicans gonna do? Complin to someone when they are here illegally?
I built my house by myself with the help of friends from the UP of Michigan who are contractors.
BTW, most houses here in AZ have tile flooring, and the concrete cracks. So guess what happenes to that tile when the concrete cracks under it. I laid down subflooring over the concrete slab and put flooring over that.
Your choice of hardwood flooring is a darn good choice.
