The media started the whole “mass deportation” nonsense. We can get all the illegals out of this country without any massive roundup and deportation. We need to do a layered approach, all at the same time. We need to secure the border, enforce all immigration laws and deny services to illegals. As to deportation, the first wave needs to be those illegals that have already had their day in court and are currently under deportation orders from a court and are not currently being deported. Hard for anyone to argue with a court ordered deportation and get much support for that cause.
The enforcement of laws and denial of freebies will cause many to self deport. Then concentrate on criminal illegals- I find it hard to believe anyone would object to deporting illegal gang members with the face tats and all the gangsta look. After that just deport those that come to the attention of law enforcement in the course of their job and do away with sanctuary cities and what not. The more that are deported the more will self deport.
There is no need to go door to door, drag people out and load them on boxcars. That is the image the libs want people to get whenever deportation is mentioned though.

“Mass deportations” should be in scare marks because it’s the cheap labor lobby using its MSM agitprop division to confuse the low-info, no different than “comprehensive immigration reform,” “undocumented immigrants living in the shadows” or a raft of other expressions they love to use.
Agree. And, as Trump has said....we have to follow our laws. That alone will so a LONG WAY to rectify the problem.
