More and more are finally calling the political divide what it really is: nationalism vs. globalism, or simply national sovereignty vs. globalism.

For years any use of the word “globalism” brought almost instant accusations of conspiracies and just plain kookiness, even here at FR. But that’s been the essential argument since at least the NAFTA debate in 1992 and 1993.

Trump and his supporters and all who value their nation’s sovereignty in any nation need to keep the emphasis on globalism vs.national sovereignty.

Many similarities that will comprise the majority next November if you look closely at the get out vote in Britain. Some conservatives, many labor voters that are deeply concerned about trade agreements that cost them their jobs, backlash voters concerned over immigration and voters upset over the weak economic growth. Add it up and it comes to 52% versus 48%.

The big shock this November will be in the rust belt including Penn., Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and maybe Wisconsin all will be this new Trump coalition of blue collar, indies and some pubbies that are sick of the GOPe.

PLEASE let this be true. I only wish we could bring back the fine old tradition of tar and feathering for the noxious elitist hermaphrodites who populate our corpulent and overfed government institutions.

DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT REGARDING BRITISH REFERENDUM ON E.U. MEMBERSHIP

The people of the United Kingdom have exercised the sacred right of all free peoples. They have declared their independence from the European Union and have voted to reassert control over their own politics, borders and economy. A Trump Administration pledges to strengthen our ties with a free and independent Britain, deepening our bonds in commerce, culture and mutual defense. The whole world is more peaceful and stable when our two countries – and our two peoples – are united together, as they will be under a Trump Administration.

Come November, the American people will have the chance to re-declare their independence. Americans will have a chance to vote for trade, immigration and foreign policies that put our citizens first. They will have the chance to reject today’s rule by the global elite, and to embrace real change that delivers a government of, by and for the people. I hope America is watching, it will soon be time to believe in America again.

I’m starting to think Huckabee may be the logical VP pick.

1) The VP should do no harm. I can’t think of any way Huckabee would hurt Trump as VP.

2) Huckabee has been penning some very pro-Trump articles lately. It’s clear he “gets it” when it comes to the political shift going on and the reasons for the shift.

3) Huckabee, like Trump, is comfortable in front of the camera. He understands it is a new-media world.

4) Huckabee can bridge the gap between Trump and the religious Cruz supporters (particularly thesocial issue first voters). Huck’s bonafides when it comes to conservative social issues are unblemished.
