>>Man, you are serious about enemy SIGINT!

I subscribe to The Progressive magazine too. I am so far inside their heads that I can talk to a Proggie for a week and they won’t know that I’m a conservative until I’ve turned every one of their talking points back on another one of their talking points. Progressives, like economists, require all their theories to be prefaced with ceteris paribus. Of course, the economist is honest enough to admit it. The Proggie will not. They will just accuse you of over-complicating a simple issue by bringing two of them into the same discussion.

Which is interesting since early Proggies were big into the dialectic. Now they view the dialectic as a tool of the oppressors to “smear” them.

I listen to NPR for the same reason, but not as serious as you. Carry on!

IMHO, the eventual Progressive view of dialog was epitomized by Mao:”Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun”.
