I understand your points, but there are those who feel that staying in the EU is surrendering to the Germans. I'm not European, and don't pretend to know all the issues, and further have no issues with anyone in any way on the basis of their national heritage. That said, it's certainly not Trump's influence that led to the Brexit vote.

For Britain's sake, I hope you are wrong about companies leaving Britain, and Scotland breaking away. I don't think were really know yet how this is going to turn out.

They don’t have a choice. Many have already announced that they will leave. If they stay in the UK they will lose access to the European market.

What has been frustrating about this debate is that so little time has been spent looking at the possibilities that a free and independent UK provides. This is one of the largest economies in the world. There will be plenty of opportunities.
