Wilders is the leader of a political movement that has its origins in the leadership of a gay college professor who was murdered by a leftist for daring to speak like Mr. Wilders on matters like Islamization and immigration. There is something cleansing to the soul when one can join hearts with men like Mr. Wilders and those who came before him in the Netherlands.

Despite the political affiliations of Mr. Wilders, he is representative of the people of the Netherlands.
They are faced with existential crises as their own politicians and international organizations choke them with "refugees".
What's going on in Europe isn't really analogous to America right now, but this would be one time I hope Europe takes the lead in defining right and wrong, civilization or barbarism and anarchy.

My hope is that the future can be one where people in all nations can enjoy freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion and so on.

If all views are to be accepted and included, those who believe in traditional religious ideas about marriage and sexuality must have their views accepted. They cannot be marginalized for their beliefs.

The corporatist business and political elites have been steadfastly opposed to that.

They deserved to lose the vote yesterday, although I think economics (cheap labor-immigration) is the driving force for public opinion and certainly another bad reason to fall in line with institutions like the EU.
