Thursday June 23,2016 will go down in history as Britain's Independence Day. The Europhile elite has been defeated. Britain points Europe the way to its future and to liberation. It is time for a new start, relying on our own strength and sovereignty. Also in the Netherlands.
A recent survey (EenVandaag, Dutch television) shows that a majority of the Dutch want a referendum on EU membership. It also shows that more Dutch are in favor of exit than of remaining in the EU.
The Dutch people deserve a referendum as well.....

Yes, on your comment on England and the Netherlands standing together. And look at the history of Scotland — their relationship with England has often been very troubled to the point of hostile.

My hope is that the future can be one where people in all nations can enjoy freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion and so on.
If all views are to be accepted and included, those who believe in traditional religious ideas about marriage and sexuality must have their views accepted. They cannot be marginalized for their beliefs.
The corporatist business and political elites have been steadfastly opposed to that.

No, he is not. A social liberal in his past, perhaps; but his overriding support of the People being the deciding force in the nation's internals leaves our social issues in our hands he thinks the States should decide most social issues.
Trump's focus is on the two main things the Federal government should legitimately concern itself with: trade and defense. In those issues, he is decidedly pro-traditional free-market and America First. He supports Western Civ and Christian culture, is non-interventionist, and decries "nation-building", stopping short, however, of isolationism.
