I went to pick up my AR-15 lower yesterday after my 10 day wait (Calif). I bought it 2 weeks ago for $89.95. The price on the same lower 10 days later was $139.95. Store owner said there has been a run on them in the last week and people don’t care what they pay. He said that the 80%ers are flying off the shelf. And are much more expensive than the finished version.

Oh, the run is primarily due to some nasty Calif. gun ban legislation that may get signed soon.
You can pick up fantastic blemished full lowers for a similar price as well as terrific uppers from my favorite supplier located in South Carolina, Palmetto State Armory. I highly recommend anybody interested in building their own AR to check them out...
