The last thing I would want to do is introduce a dark note. But, strangely, history has shown us that in recent times, events in England, like this vote, foreshadow events in America.
When the British voted for Margaret Thatcher, Americans voted for Ronald Reagan. When Englanders voted Labour Party, Americans embraced Bill Clinton and the democrats. This pattern has remained remarkably true.

Even more troubling is that millennials see themselves as citizens of the world and not Americans. They have no loyalty to the country or its people or its institutions. There only loyalty is to the next startup that might make them a buck.
