A death happened in the commission of a felony so appropriate charges also need to be brought there.

Thank God this young person defended themselves so we don’t have another “statistic”.

I was wondering about that - whether the other criminal would face murder or manslaughter charges for participating in a crime in which a person died. I expect the laws on this vary from state to state.

The common dialogue is that the boy should have been disarmed by the suspected burglars and killed with his own handgun. Since this did not happen the story will quietly disappear from public view and discussion.

According to the ‘left’, the above is what usually happens if you have a gun in your house. Are there any factual stories where the criminal disarms the resident and kills the resident with their own gun? I do not believe I have ever heard of an actual event of this sort.
