Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Pa., called for a revision of the Second Amendment during Wednesday's "sit-in" on the House floor, which has shut down the House while Democrats demand a vote on gun control legislation.
"The Second Amendment needs some changing, because Americans don't agree with it and we've had it," Doyle shouted on the House floor. "We're not going to watch any more people in this country get slaughtered and do nothing."
House Democrats are occupying the well of the floor in order to demand a vote on gun control legislation, such as a ban on weapons sales to people on the terror watch list.
They've vowed not to leave until House Republicans grant a vote on that bill, making the "sit-in" a rough approximation of a Senate filibuster. They were joined briefly on the House floor by Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Murphy, who staged a talking filibuster for the same purpose last week.

This sit-in doesn’t sound legal. The Republicans should have the Sergeant at Arms drag these jackasses out and dump them on the curb.

The Democrats could march troops in and arrest every Republican in the House and Senate and haul them off to a concentration camp, and not one of them would lift a finger to fight back.

DEPORT people on the terrorist watch list. If they are Americans, haul them in and question them, then charge them or get them off the list.

Theoretically the 2nd amendment can be repealed. But it takes an overwhelming consensus to change the constitution. It takes a 2/3 vote in each house of Congress, then approval by 3/4 of the states. It’s a high hurdle, but the Founding Fathers wanted to make it difficult to just change the constitution on a whim.

What our Constitution needs is a legal mechanism for the people to immediately remove any DC politicians who try to govern against it, thus governing against our liberty. And no, I’m not talking about the people’s vote because that leaves in place the scoundrels to do more damage until they are voted out and besides, the election system is rigged.
They need to take that confusing (to leftists) part about the militia out and just leave it: "The Right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." Period. Full stop. nothing more necessary.
