I believe immunity was from the Feds for the Feds case against Hillary, not for Judicial Watch.
Although I'm not a lawyer that's *not* my understanding.Without the threat of prosecution there's no *need* for to protect yourself from incrimination.Of course it's also my understanding that immunity deals always contain an exception for perjury.So taking the 5th when a deal is in place means that the witness is afraid of something.And when opposing the Clintons a rational person has *much* to be afraid of.
Pagliano was granted full immunity -- in return for his testimony -- in the criminal proceeding being investigated by the FBI.
This is a separate civil case, brought by Judicial Watch. His immunity does not extend to this proceeding.

Generally, once you have been granted immunity, you can’t invoke the 5th anymore, since you are not in danger of being prosecuted. Ordinary citizens who would try this would be jailed for contempt until they agreed to answer the questions.
Apparently, Hillary’s minions are not ordinary citizens.
