Well, once you start, you cant pick and choose questions to answer.
It's how F. Lee Bailey got O.J. off. Got Mark Fuhrman to start taking the fifth, and finished his line of questioning with "Did you plant any evidence in the Simpson case?"
Once you plead the fifth to THAT, what's a jury to think?

The OJ trial did produce a conviction, just not of OJ.
