At a discussion on climate change and food security on Tuesday, an advocate of their connection to national security said both played a role in the unrest and violence taking place across the Middle East and in parts of Africa, and claimed they also affected the French Revolution and the parting of the Red Sea as told in the Old Testament.
We can look at Syria and what happened with Syria and the movement of populations into Damascus, the disaffected people the rise, certainly, of conflict there, Jon White, president of the Consortium for Ocean Leadership, said at the Center for American Progress (CAP) in Washington, D.C.

Gosh, I guess the gun running and purposeful destabilization or destruction of government after government must have had nothing to do with it.

The civil unrest in Eygpt was encouraged and manipulated by Obama and Hillary in order in install the Muslim Brotherhood in charge of the government. Fortunately, the Egyptian people decided they didn’t want a government run by terrorists and got rid of them.

It's always hot as hell in those regions, it did not start just now so I'm calling BS on the climate change angle.
It's not that hard to grow food, so IMHO food shortages in this day and age are most likely caused by government malfeasance or worse.

They thought they had it figured out, but once we discovered that militant Islam doesn’t really exist, they were able to come up with the actual reason.

Wow. So climate change caused Hillary and Obama to wreck havoc from Libya to Iraq ? Must have been the heat getting to them.

If my memory serves me wasn’t the root cause of the Arab spring the astronomical prices of corn which made most food staples containing corn extremely expensive?

You are correct...the drought there led to poor harvests of food...usually that's no problem, because they buy what they needed from the US and elsewhere. However, the food riots started because the price of food from the US had risen significantly...because there was less food on the market from the US...because a large part of food crops in the US had been diverted into the production of ETHANOL.
So, you could say climate change led to the riots and ultimately the Arab Spring, but not in the way we are being told. One of the fake solutions to the climate change hoax--biofuels--is what led to the food shortages and high prices.
It's absolutely true that ethanol kills...even the UN agrees...
Biofuels do more harm than good, UN warns
