While I was out cutting low tree branches I got to thinking about how Eunice (Pen-Pal) and I have talked so openly through the many years. When President Obama came into office I started watching my words and stopping myself from saying several political things. I even made a comment to her that I better watch how I phrase my sentence because of the censoring she probably has there. You know what her reply was..."you're country is the one you have to watch what you say not mine."
I haven't forgotten her remark.
Eunice says she doesn't know several people living on her street because of all the immigrants there now. She said no one flies their countries flag in public anymore. There are no farms near her home as once before because all of their food is shipped in.
