Today, the Donald J. Trump campaign announced a new executive board convened to provide advisory support to Mr. Trump on those issues important to Evangelicals and other people of faith in America.
The executive board will also lead a much larger Faith and Cultural Advisory Committee to be announced later this month.
The leaders on the executive board were not asked to endorse Mr. Trump as a prerequisite for participating on the board.
Rather, the formation of the board represents Donald J. Trumps endorsement of those diverse issues important to Evangelicals and other Christians, and his desire to have access to the wise counsel of such leaders as needed. Mr. Trump has received widespread support from Evangelical leaders, communities and voters, winning the majority of the Evangelical vote throughout the primaries.
Mr. Trump stated, I have such tremendous respect and admiration for this group and I look forward to continuing to talk about the issues important to Evangelicals, and all Americans, and the common sense solutions I will implement when I am President.
The executive board members will convene on a regular basis. Certain members of the advisory board are solely responsible for managing Mr. Trumps private meeting with hundreds of Christian leaders scheduled today in New York City.

No it doesn’t; there are no conservative Roman Catholics on this panel. Shame on DJT.
I want to support Trump, but turning his back on Catholics is no way to do it. There are millions of us who are traditional and conservative novus ordo Catholics who are not represented in this election.

Today at the gathering of evangelicals Trump was forthright, said he would support pro-life judges. Respectful, and warmly received.
It did surprise me a bit to see Dobson considering his support of Cruz, I guess Trump is picking the best who are willing to work with him.
Good deal.
He has met with both the Jewish and catholic communities. Expect one day they will be made more public also
“there are no conservative Roman Catholics on this panel”
I must have missed when Catholics became Evangelicals.
Some of the names are familiar to TBN viewers.
Jenetzen, Copeland and Morris have regular shows with the network.
Trump is consulting a cross-section of the Christian community.
Noteworthy in view of the fact he isn’t himself an evangelical Christian.
I don’t know if there’s a “top of the list,” as in pecking order; it’s just listef here alphabetically.
This was meant to be a list of evangelical advisors from what I understand. He’s going to release the larger list for his Faith and Cultural Advisory Committee, which will almost certainly include Catholic and Jewish advisors, later this month according to the press release. I’ve certainly not seen anything to suggest that he’s “turning his back on Catholics.”
Catholics and Protestants don’t always see things the same way.
Ecumenism has its pluses and its minuses.
I worked with a tranny some years ago.
He/she/it was never in anyone’s face about it.
As I wasn’t around that person on a daily basis it didn’t bother me.
There is one that lives two houses up from a cousin of mine that is more the militant type.
Always reminding people that “she” is different.
A real attention whore.
As long as they don’t get obnoxious about it and don’t force me to participate (providing goods or services) then I really don’t care.
I also have concerns about some on the list since my belief isn’t mainstream Christian, Pentecostal Christian, Charismatic Christian, Fundamental Christian,...I don’t see any representatives of my non-religion (yet I believe Jesus is Lord and Messiah) on there at all!
Even when I was a pentecostal Christian, I had concerns about some of the names on that list.
However, there IS only ONE God and ONE Messiah and all of these people claim to love him, as do their followers. I’m not sure what this committee is intended to do, but I don’t think any of them are supporting Hildabeast.
Will she receive a Christian following?
There ARE some believers who are not adherents to religion, but who try to live by Godly principles, even if they do fall on their noses from time to time. Most of the Patriarchs fit this category as well. Their humanity and flaws are included with their stories as well as their willingness to believe and obey.
May God cover Trump’s behind! May Trump keep God as Lord, and be willing to serve him in the way God wants to be served.
Great news LOVE the list..Ive seen Pastor Robert Jeffress many times on Fox News, good man..and its nice seeing that Michele Bachmann is involved too I haven’t heard from her in a while so its nice to see her returning to the scene
***Trump is consulting a cross-section of the Christian community***
Really? Well where are the Catholics, the Orthodox the mainline Protestants? Instead he has kooks like Paula White?
Oh wait, I forgot. Catholics aren’t Christians.
***Many are praying for Christian leaders to come together with one voice to proclaim GODS Truth to our nation.***
Are Catholics invited, or Orthodox?
Oops. Guess not.
***No it doesnt; there are no conservative Roman Catholics on this panel. Shame on DJT.

Good. Somebody besides me noticed.
I think TRUMP went “wide screen”. ALL are media savvy and widely known across the country, among evangelicals.
Almost every individual named is on TBN cable TV, practically 24/7 and some even internationally, and the rest with daily or weekly RADIO programs on Christian stations and a select few associated with university campuses.
Naturally, I am gravely disappointed (embarrassed actually) that there are no Catholic bishops among them. There are bishops who are *for* TRUMP, swimming against the tide of progressive Catholic bishops and the USCCB, but perhaps they can not participate in a political campaign organization.
So even if alphabetically there is still a top and bottom Don’t be obtuse!
I’m sure you also noticed the word ‘Evangelical’ in the title?
Thought so.
Last time I checked, Catholics don’t fall under the definition of evangelical.
There were also no Methodist , Lutheran, Presbyterian Etc. All of these churches are instructed not to get involved because of loosing their IRS exemption (Johnson Gag amendment ) Trump discussion of removing that will be picked up by these churches Baptist and others don’t have the central national offices these Protestant and the Catholic and orthodox churches have
Since 400 were invited and over 1,000 showed up. They could have attended if their bishops/leaders had allowed it. Because of fear of loosing the exemption they should/would not encourage attendance
I know of at least two Occations that DJT was invited speaker to Jewish events.
