Ivanka had given the campaign plenty of warning. She wants her father to act more dignified...more intelligent..and stop the “letting Trump be Trump” which was Corey’s trademark in the campaign. The seventy per cent negative in popularity was the last straw for her. She told the campaign if he stayed, she would no longer help the campaign. Her father very much values her advice...hence, his departure.
And Trump needs to listen to her.
Just a little dignified would be as start but first impressions are the most lasting and I don’t see how he can get out of this.
