Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is leaving the campaign, just weeks before the Republican convention where Trump is set to claim the GOP presidential nomination.
A Trump senior campaign aide confirmed to Fox News Monday morning that Lewandowski is no longer with the campaign.
It's unclear what specifically led to the shake-up. The high-profile departure of one of Trump's most senior and loyal advisers follows what was widely seen as a rough patch for the campaign.

You mean the guy who got him the unexpected landslide win in IN, who got better than expected turnout in NY, CT, DE, MD, CA and so on?
Please.
Not true about Salem. Mark Davis & Mike Gallagher have hitched their cabooses to the Trump Train.
I haven’t listened to anything yet this morning.
Salem is definitely who I hear a lot and who would say this.
Thanks. I think I will turn on the radio.
rope a dope is one of the left’s most effective agendas.
An offense is what I was thinking of just this weekned. Cruz got beat to death by being on the defense and they have launched it against Trump.
>Its a little more than that. Lewandowski apparently just wasnt taking orders well from Manafort, and maybe he just didnt have the skill set to run a national, vs. state or even regional campaign.
It was Corey who let the Cruz get away with stealing the delegates. He wasn’t paying attention to the board while he worked each state and the rallies.
I hope Manafort will be able to change the unscripted rallies. Let’s hear a disciplined agenda.
Give it up Torquemada.
Why are you posting dissension-initiating articles from New York Mag?
I think it’s also a big picture strategy thing. I’m going to publish something on FR here later this week as to where this is all going IMHO.
Because the election is what, tomorrow, right? *snicker*
Only to be demoted to...
It’s a simple request: tell me a few things you like about Trump.
I hope not. The problem with fitting the establishment mold is that you then become subject to the establishment structure.
According to who...the cunning runts in the corporate media?
Trump has made at least a half dozen appearances in the past week to large crowds of supporters in several important states, he's done a number of one-one interviews and made appearances on several national news programs. His surrogates have also appeared, notably Sen. Jeff Sessions.
Trump continues to lead the national discussion, whether its gun restrictions for suspected terrorists or the need to criminally profile them. Contrast that with Clinton who has been practically invisible...so what exactly is your problem again?
Hillary shouldn’t stand a chance
One person gets it. One.
I haven’t watched much in the last couple of weeks.
I usually watch Lou Dobbs, if Lou goes anti-trump then it’s over for me on cable news, I gave up on the rest a long time ago.
“...so what exactly is your problem again?”
I might have many problems, but denial isn’t one of them.
Salem Radio’s flagship station is KRLA in Los Angeles. And it is #neverTrump virtually all day long.
Hugh Hewitt. Ben Shapiro and Elisha Krauss. Dennis Prager strongly opposed Trump but will support him. Michael Medved. Mark Levin.
No it’s not a simple request, you are trying acting some sort of kapo.
Get off it.
Yes it is. Campaign changes happen all the time. Lest we forget that Reagan fired John Sears in 1980.
Corey has been phenomenal and pulled off something for the ages. But Trump needs to move in a new direction and as much as I hate it, the decision has been made and it is time to go in a new direction.
