Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on restricting individuals on the terror watch list from being able to purchase firearms, despite Republican objections.
"We have to make sure that people that are terrorists or have even an inclination toward terrorism cannot buy weapons, guns," Trump told ABC's White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in an interview that will air Sunday on "This Week."

Thank you. Reality and logic. So refreshing!
How about defending yours?
There already is a check for anyone buying a gun... where is the problem?
Answer: they let everything slip through the proverbial cracks because they are so inept and incompetent... and otherwise, do not care.
So adding another “can’t buy guns” for what reason?
If you haven’t ever bought a gun, you’d think there must be no ifs or buts... just go get what you want. Not so!
The Boston crew came in under Bush. The Orlando turd was let in under Reagan.
San Bernardino female mutt-Obama.
Obviously that ain’t working.
The Founders did not have modern methods at hand.
Imagine if you will a very stupid and dangerous liberal idea in the form of a needle slowly puncturing a rather large balloon surrounding Donald Trump to reveal that which is truly within. Is that what we have here?
The Orlando turd was let in under Reagan.
My mistake: the Orlando turd’s father .
So go after the messenger instead of the message huh, that is so weak. We are better than that.
I think Trump is misguided here and hasn't thought it through. On the surface, this sounds like a no brainer. I bet if he talked to the right people, he could be made to understand the problem with this.
He better figure a way to refine this, because it doesn’t separate him from Hitlery.
Wong answer. You don’t get your right restricted withou due process. Let’s say a mute and silent cop picks me up says nothing. Then proceeds to throw me in the slammer. Then without grand jury indictment and without preparation to hire an attorney in advance I’m brought before a judge who then reads me my charges then convicts me? Then I’m to spend 20 years in prison then must find the proof to get myself out.
That sound right? That’s akin to what you would support
There is no due process, hence the problem. There have been babies and nuns and Air Marshalls denied the right to fly because their names are on the list.
>>>If Trump wins, conservatives can expect four or eight more years of this<<<
And if he loses to Hillary or whatever Marxist the Rats put up? Do you think Trump is worse than Jeb!, the original presumptive Republican Nominee> Without Trump, it would have been Jeb! all the way to November.
Trump is meeting with the NRA to develop Policy concerning this. If you don’t see that the question posed to him was a “gotcha” question, then you had better figure it out.
As I stated in a previous Post up thread, had Trump said no, the Headline would be “Trump supports Terrorists getting AR-15’s”.
BTW - Trump beat all comers, so it is what it is. Now we have a bunch of gotcha queens who think they have it all figured out. My guy Cruz lost, so Trump it is, period.
He does that often. I wait till he clarifies.. he usually does... after he heard from some of his voters.
I’d settle for stopping arming them in Syria while fighting them in Iraq and admitting yep, fundamentalist Islam is at war with the rest of the world with the intent to conquer it.
Time to Freep Trump with Due Process arguments and examples of how these gov’t lists are abused. This is very disappointing.
“Wasnt Mateen on the terror watch list but they recently had taken him off? “
No. Mateen was never on any list. He was investigated twice by the FBI who decided to do nothing.
He has also said that his dept. would vet the list very carefully. If no terrorist entanglement, they would reinstate 2 A.
He knows there are people that the vengeful Democrats have added in retaliation. This is exactly why Obama is busy scrubbing records of criminals and terrorist affiliations.
How is this any different than banning someone who has a restraining order on him,a non violent felony or any other excuse? I might agree IF any person prior to being placed on the list have a hearing to validate the claim.
Muslims who support Shariah law have decided that they want to overthrow the US government - so, no admission to such and deport those who do.
If they are the few liberal secular Muslims, like some Sufis and Almadhi, the Unitarians of the Muslim world, then they can stay if they recognize the right of others to disagree and not have to be oppressed for the privilege to not be Muslim.
