From what I understand ..
Illinois is mostly shotgun only hunting when deer hunting.
Against the law to use rifles in some areas

"The AR-47 shoots bullets that spin and explode!"
Well, that means that, if I adapt the spin to match the distance AND time the rate of fire, I should be able to get the round to shoot around corners!

Michael Moore knows. ["Ammo used in AR-15/M-16 is banned by the Geneva Convention."] OK, you oozing pustulent sore, specify clause and Convention (you do know, you moron, that there have been several Geneva Conventions and protocols, right?) Ever hear of the term "Full Metal Jacket", hmmmm? Military does not use hollow point ammo which is what you, you gross ignore-ass, are attempting to expostulate. Go back to your hole!

You know, the heck of it is that the AK-47 round, the 7.62x39, has ballistics very similar to those of the much-used and venerable .30-30 Winchester, which cartridge has likely taken more whitetail than any other. And lots of less well-to-do hunters have adopted the SKS, which also uses the 7.62x39, as a modern cheap deer rifle.
Oh, and STHU Durbin, you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt, as you have done here.

Presuming that Dick(less) meant the AR-15, he is actually right.
The .223 round used in the AR-15 isn't really powerful enough to hunt deer. You are more likely to simply wound one, then lose it in the brush. And to a true sportsman, that's a real waste.
.223 is only used for very small game and varmints.
You may ask: but what about humans? The .223 is designed to wound a human, not kill him. A wounded soldier is no more effective than a dead soldier, but consumes a lot of resources to rescue and treat him.
That's the politically incorrect version, but it's the truth.

The AR-47 isn’t the problem; it’s the high-velocity, cop-killer clips that are the problem.

He's right. No one uses an AR-47. Because there's no such thing.
Idiot.

The AK47 fires a 7.62x39 cartridge. The Bullet is actually a .30 Caliber bullet that most Deer Rifles use.....like

Every time I make fun of some idiot’s gun lingo, it turns out that someone, somewhere, has actually made one.
For instance that favorite of detective novel writers, the automatic revolver. Yes there has actually been several of them.
