Good observation. All along some of the more prolific posters that are die hard Cruzers, and that have not been able to embrace reality, have been at work posting many of the arbitrary Trump threads in the name of “discussion.” It became tiresome for me, from the beginning, as their true purpose was transparent and unwelcome. Couple that with any of the paid and volunteer provocateurs that are practicing the art of astroturfing, and you’ve found most of your culprits here at FR.
Remarkably, the Trump rally threads routinely run into the hundreds of posts. Sadly, some very thoughtful topics placed into their own threads here at FR, see quite a bit less traffic than what’s typical commissioned for a daily Trump thread. The masqueraded #NeverTrump threads, see even less visitors and contributors, so I see much of it as a wasted effort.
The television and therefore media, is openly hostile to Trump, and hell bent on taking him down. I’ve swore off TV for the last few days and it has been refreshing and an eye opener as to how the constant barrage of negativity towards Trump has a corrosive effect on the viewer. I tried to watch that snarky cretin- Chris Wallace, this morning, and I turned the TV off after 5 minutes, as my blood was to the boiling point listening to his psyops shtick.
You have expressed what is happening so very well. Thank you, freepersup.
Last night it seemed the site was overtaken by so many of them, it reminded me of our open borders being overrun with so many illegals, who could apprehend them all?!? I don’t know if this is happening every night or not because I don’t typically read FR that late. I hope not.
As I was pondering how to get these posters to stop, it occurred to me that, since no one person can see every post, perhaps we could be helpful by doing this:
Every time we see one of these types of posts, maybe put the cursor over top the post #, chooses copy address location (or however it is worded), and paste it as a link, into an email to Jim for his perusal. That way, he can just click on the link, read it, and decide what he would like to do.
Well, it’s just an idea that came to me when my jaw dropped in shock when reading so many of these kinds of posts last night. I finally gave up. But maybe this might be something positive that we could do that would help. I don’t know.
I as well, and I've felt much calmer. Reading comments here and a few other choice places is quite refreshing.
sooooo sorry that you missed the rally and had the sore feet episode. Heal well friend
Guess we might be hanging here on this thread a few days
May I add my Father’s Day wishes to all the Dads here who visit the thread. Leaving work an hour early (depending on my relief’s degree of tardiness) to watch the Cavs/Warriors at a local sports bar. LOTS of huge fan venues in downtown Cleveland but time, fatigue just aren’t going to permit that.
Being 5 minutes from home at a nice place with fans is fun.
