True story (if a bit personal)....shortly after having my second son, we made the trek to visit the grandparents in Sun City AZ, and it was 118 degrees! (they had their house at a BALMY 88) but I digress.....so I am trying to frink enough fluid tonurse my son, and the poor lad was suckin DUST! I had to drink about 12 glasses of water a day just to stan “even”!! No way in hell I would live there (no pun intended)

That’s why we live in the mountains, 160 miles from Phoenix. I try not to go down there in summer. Too darn hot!

We moved from Texas to Nevada. Lived there 6 years. Then back to Texas...

Got used to dry heat. Would take it any day over Texas humidity! Had a closeline. Could hang my laundry out at night....dry in the morning! :)

But, I did hate the tarantulas and scorpions! ugh

No way in hell I would live there (no pun intended) We need you. Even the fairly-conservative state is always on miniscus. We have things like air conditioning and water service, not to mention fresh produce!

The higher your altitude, the lower the daytime high (and the higher your Real Estate). It takes a year to adjust, then after that, you will hate every other climate.
