I disagree as after Pearl Harbor no one had any damn idea whether any Jap here was loyal to their homeland as in spy or even worse. If we had not nuked Japan several times those SOB’s would have fought to the last man. To assault Japan like we did Normandy would have cost more dead Americans then Normandy plus many other assaults to include those in the Pacific. That was the consensus among the top brass. During war you do many things that are not in the constitution. Military commanders and the President do not win wars being nice guys. Your point is BS.

You are conflating two distinct issues. I never said anything about dropping nukes. I agree with that decision 100%. My uncle was in the Bataan Death March, so I have little sympathy for the country of Japan. They were vicious war criminals who deserved worse than they got.

That said, American citizens’ rights are not dependent on race. As for the Americans who were interred, there were many more Americans of German descent who were spies, and they were never rounded up en masse.

Japanese Americans were an easy target, but distinguishing between immigrants from the current conflict is worse. To put it in a modern perspective, we would never have allowed immigration from Japan during the war. That is exactly what Obama is doing, and that needs to cease. There is no way to vet anyone and radical Muslims are in charge of the emigration process. It is criminal to continue.
