There’s a whole lot of denominations that have people in them that can’t resist to do what they perceive to be “God’s work” by ‘rescuing’ all those poor poor immigrants. Of course getting paid to do it is easily overlooked or rationalized away. It turns my stomach how easily some of these otherwise well intentioned people are being duped. They really believe their on some kind of mission from God and refuse to look at the long term consequences of their actions, not to mention the legality of such. Many, who even profess to despise Obama, rationalize their actions because he is authorizing it. I firmly believe that it boils down to greed. They cannot resist the money they receive. Over here near the border, it used to just be liberal activists who would secretly, and sometimes not so secretly, help the illegals once they crossed the border by setting up food and water stations as well as giving them rides further in. Now... Sheesh! So called conservatives or traditionally conservative denominations who find themselves with finacial difficulties (created by the bankers and their puppet Obama), are compromising themselves and twisting scripture to facilitate the invasion in exchange for their 3 pieces of silver.
If ever there was a more appropriate situation for this saying, I’m not aware of it: “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
This issue makes me sick.
