When he says, to the GOP, I may be going this alone, he's started another deal. They don't know it, but he's negotiating with them on his terms. --
The beauty is that he isn't going it alone - he is willing to go it, without the support of self-proclaimed "key players" in the GOP. As long as he enjoys public support, he does not need the support of the garden variety globalist politicians. In fact, he'd do at least as well, and probably better, with them in opposition. The threats to deny him financial support aren't effective, and the threats to deny him policy support serve to highlight the contrast between globalist policies and America-first policies.

The man is a real study in human psychology. I bet it takes him five seconds to figure someone out.... What other candidate who say things like: 1. "Have you noticed? Obama and Hillary hate each other." 2. "Hillary is doing anything and everything Obama wants, to stay out of jail." 3. "Jimmy Carter is the happiest man in America, knowing he's no longer the worst president of all times." 4. "Anthony Weiner, the biggest sleaze ball of all times." 5. "I started with, like 17 people running against me, then one by one, bing, bang, boom, bam...they'd fall off." 6. "Crooked Hillary." 7. "Goofy Elizabeth." 8. "Pochahontus. I'm more INdian than she is." 9. "Crazy Bernie." 10. "Look energy, Jeb." 11. "Little Marco." 12. "Lyin' Ted." 13. "Sit down, you weren't called! Sit down. Go back to Telemundo." 14. "GEt them out of here!" 15. "Hey! Where's Tony? Tony DeLano? There he is! First guy to endorse me in NJ. Hey, Tony? Come up on stage here. GEt your (fat lazy good for nothing I threw these in myself) @ss up here! 16. "It's Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!" 17. "See, another politician all talk and no action, then you have the opposite in Richard Petty, no talk and all action." 18. "These morons, back there. The most dishonest people on the planet." 19. "Crooked Hillary, doesn't like my tone. People are chopping of heads, drowning people in cages, setting people on fire, and she doesn't like my tone." 20. "These people have been fighting each other for thousands of years. Every four years they fight. They move ten feet here, then come back and the other one moves ten feet there."
