The NY Daily News has become a daily hate screed, like nothing I’ve ever seen in print before. I grew up in the NYC area (50s and 60s) and the NYDN was always your typical tabloid, but still a good read. Sports coverage was the best. There was never any of the unbelievable, putrid $hit it publishes today.
