Dems think his views on gun control are immune to criticism or disagreement because he served.

No, it don’t work that way.

Exactly, and since we are all in the militia anyway, it would makes no sense to prevent the People from having quality rifles.

Right,...ever hear of Lexington & Concord when the British tried to impose musket and ammo control?

I have no reason to own half the things I do own, but for my firearms I have a reason.

The First Amendment recognizes and protects the individual’s right to speak on any subject.

The Third Amendment recognizes and protects the individual’s sanctity of home and prevents the government from seizing property for military purposes.

The Fourth Amendment recognizes and protects the individual against unreasonable searches and seizures.

The Fifth Amendment recognizes and protects the individual against self-incrimination and recognizes and protects the individual’s right to due process.

The Sixth Amendment recognizes and protects the individual’s right to a speedy and/or jury trial and the right to face his accusers.

The Seventh Amendment further protects the individual’s right to a jury trial.

The Eighth Amendment recognizes and protects the individual’s right against cruel and unusual punishment and excessive bails and fines.

The Ninth and Tenth Amendments recognize and protect all individual rights that have not been specifically mentioned or enumerated ie freedom is the default condition.

All of these Amendments are about one thing: the protection of individual rights and restrictions on government’s power to deny them temporarily or permanently.

And they’re going to tell us the Second Amendment is about the National Guard and Army?
