A watered down terrorist watch list ban may pass (in the Senate at least), but getting off the phone with my Senator's office, the general view of the staffer I talked to is that there is no way 15 Republicans are going to flip and get the 60 votes for the universal background check bill to go anywhere (and Paul Ryan has already said he has no intention of bringing it up in the House, though I trust him about as far as I could throw him).

Anyway, it's time to start burning up the phone lines....

I read somewhere this morning that 72 DHS employees were on the no-fly-list.

If it does, the courts hopefully will (eventually) strike it down, since that would violate the 2nd and 14th amendments.
