It’s odd that God did things Jesus would never do, isn’t it?

Well, it is even odder when you are told the God of the Old Testament is the Christ of the New. Clearly there is something there that we don't completely understand. -----------------------

Unless the Trinity is a lot of hooey. Then it is perfectly understandable. Hmmm.

The Old Testament is Law. In Law there is punishment for wrong doing. The New Testament, (i.e. the New Convent), creates Grace. Christs sacrifice on the Cross makes it possible for God to show grace to sinful man. Man merely need he acknowledges his sins and accept the gift of Christ's Grace.

The only way one can argue this ridiculous “moral equivalence” between Christianity and Islam is if they are completely ignore of both Christ teaching and the history of Islam.
