I think there’s a lot to that. And Armitage’s comment about jumping sides to support Clinton enforces that perception - something like ‘Trump refuses to be educated on the issues’, educated presumably meaning coopted.
This British woman’s death is a tragedy to the family now without her. It’s unclear whether this had anything to do with the upcoming referendum. But if British really want to repudiate politically motivated killing they will vote to leave the EU and show that voting can still accomplish something contrary to the elites’ wishes, peacefully.
