I am glad that Hewitt has begun to show some sanity again, but his strain of "conservatism" has shown itself to be untrustworthy at best. The act that any and all of those fools thought Trump was as bad as (or worse) than Hillary has earned my everlasting scorn.

I welcome any real support he and the other #nevertrumpers will give, but think he and his group (Rush included) did some major long term damage to the Trump candidacy.

That kind of damage can, and I believe will be overcome, but it was more than slightly disturbing to watch. I don't know what the answer is for people like HH, but I know I'll have a hard time trusting any of his opinions again.

I have no disagreement with what you said, but I do take issue with those who forever dismiss potential allies - because isn’t that exactly what we accuse our GOPe adversaries of doing? They needed a lot of us to elect both Bushes, and we will need a lot of them to elect Trump. Hugh Hewitt has a broad audience in Bill Bennett’s former morning drive time slot, and I hope he’ll use it to draw more voters to Trump. I don’t care if those voters are reluctant or conflicted or kicking and screaming; a dollar is a dollar and a vote is a vote. I want every vote we can get.
