Here’s what it all boils down to.
If if shoots bullets or balls, it’s an evil gun. No matter if it’s a .17, a .22, a 9mm, a shotgun, an AR or a musket.

Jusy calling it a gun is sufficient for demonization.
Guns are the easy target.

We all know, a person with ill intent could do just as much damage in a crowded nightclub with two semi-auto 40SW Glock handguns. Maybe not 50 dead, perhaps 20, but anyone with a brain knows, this is just a tawkin point to begin disarming folks.
