This article has been scrubbed from the net, but here is the gist of it:

“But none of this comes as any surprise to long-time gun rights activist, author, and university professor John Lott, who knew Obama back at the University of Chicago School of Law. Obama was serving as a part time adjunct instructor in law, and Lott was visiting professor and fellow in the area of economics and law.

In a revealing interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Lott describes his encounters with Obama as rather odd, abrupt, and unfriendly. When the two were first introduced, Obama quipped, “Oh, you’re the gun guy.”

“Yes, I’m the gun guy,” Lott responded, referring to his books on the subject and his activism in the area of gun rights and other liberties, the latest of which is “At the Brink: Will Obama Push Us Over the Edge?”

“I don’t believe anybody should own guns,” Obama quipped abruptly as he left.

Lott states that all of the subsequent encounters with Obama in the years that followed took a similar path. Conversations were short, unfriendly, and ended abruptly, a fact that Lott says is unusual in academic circles even among professors and instructors who disagree with one another. This, Lott maintains, is an indication that Obama is a “true believer” in the sense that he is all about ideology, Leftist ideology, and that anyone who disagrees with him is automatically suspect.”
