I’m 58 and have been southern baptist all my life and from Mississippi where the flag still flies proudly for now
I have never seen a confederate flag fly down here from any church period my entire life including during the turbulent 1960s
And neither have you
So quit race baiting and pretending it’s for God
You’re doing it for you
It’s what you do my man
Concern troll much?
Btw for accuracy
The largest denominations in Antebellum Mississippi were Methodist Presbyterian Episcopal/Baptist (tie) in that order
Louisiana was of course Catholic
Upper South morec Anglican and Congregational
The largest schism in the Baptists down here was not over slavery or secession ..they pretty much stuck together but rather over the Restoration movement which came after.....Goodpasture and Harding etc
Baptists and Presbyterians and DOC and Methodist left in droves to follow the more rigid many of whom had been abolitionist leaning fwiw

Get over yourself. If you’ve never seen a Confederate flag in a church, this resolution cannot affect you. And I’ve already posted that I’ve never seen one.
So...what bothers you?
The only churches affected by this would be ones that ARE flying a Confederate flag, and it isn’t even binding on them! So what has your panties in a wad?
