Not exactly right. If he had been carrying an AR and blown the place up with C4....they would still be vilifying the rifle.
He could have killed everyone in the room with a pressure-cooker bomb like the ones used in Boston....The fact this MUSLIM used a gun might have actually saved lives strange as that sounds.
