If you read the comments for the article you have 50 people repeating the same damn thing, “it wasn’t an assault rifle”. Besides the endless and needless repetition, the comment is technically true from a military perspective, but assault weapons are also defined for legislative purposes in things like “assault weapon ban”. That definition fits the type of weapon that was used, and what the idiot reporter is talking about. Droning on about semantics, like the difference between a clip and a magazine is pointless and are not persuasive. PS-This does not mean I agree with the author, favor assault weapon bans, regulations or limits on mag capacity.
It is what they do best.
Well according to many from distant lands across the ocean you buy guns in grocery stores in the U.S.A. If you are in Florida I guess that means Publix. Though I’ve never seen that aisle.
LOL. Folks, the best way to see this is for what it is: full fledged panic among Democrats.
Thus the temper tantrum by the child today.
Thus the misleading headline in the Washington Post.
Thus Hitlery blaming Florida’s gun laws.
Voters are waking up. Even homosexuals are realizing Democrats are users who don’t care one whit for safety.
Tide is turning.
This puppy held 14 rounds, when our military carried muzzleloaders or single-shot rifles.
Yahoo, the Pravda of America.
I believe that is their actual slogan.
You are spot on. So few see this for what it is.
The MIRVed models have a three-day waiting period.
Good post.
You were right on every point - the above my favorite. It's true but hidden...
I have an original Model 1870 In GREAT condition (.40/.44).
Per the serial number, it was manufactured in 1890. My father in law and I put about 15 rounds through it in February. It was pretty popular at the range. It’s been in the family since it’s original purchase.
I wish it could talk.
I don’t think it can be considered an assault rifle because it is lever action. Right? (j/k)
Great that it’s been in the family so long and still a shooter.
