Sometimes God shapes a man for His purpose as a blacksmith shapes a sword. In the old days when a blacksmith dedicated a sword to the Gods, he was encouraged to make it the best he knew how, but not to worry about perfection, because the finishing masterstrokes would be made by The Unseen. He would also know the Gods love variety and are famous for having odd senses of humor ;)
