It seems as though American media bent over backwards complementing the homicidal maniacs for their “sophistication”, “brilliance”, and good planning. Furthermore, this propagandistic Stockholm syndrome on the part of the places WE GET OUR NEWS does not seem to have been the idea of the talking heads in question. A) It has been seriously over-the-top, B) I remember Shep Smith reading such a thing on air before slamming down the papers from which he was reading, and glaring at them without further comment.

The president is concerned about Muslims growing resentful, but the problem is that society under his watch has grown increasingly invasive, preachy, and up everyone’s ass! Of course domestic Muslims are growing more resentful. Lots of people are growing increasingly resentful, frightened, concerned, pretty much pick a negative frame of mind and it seems like there’s more of it around.

It’s time to stop using mass media for propaganda, regardless of how “well-intentioned” and for those who still have jobs to do them, that way we might actually get more of them (jobs, I mean)!

You can’t just spend oodles of time “validating” terrorists and telling them how big, strong, smart, and brilliant they are without before too long finding that they will come to expect that sort of thing and will grow resentful when it isn’t forthcoming.
