If… IF true, then starting to warm to Priebus. Maybe he is a patriot after all. But he grew up with Ryan and they are close friends. Ryan wants Hillary to win so he can run in 2020 Ryan is not a patriot and is such a douche for several reasons. but he lame ego is over the top in thinking he could run in 2020 after being such a douche to Trump.

Go Priebus if this is true. Makes you think he might be more of a patriot than an egotistical political hack, but everyone knows he is very close friends with Ryan. Time will tell, if Priebus backstabs Trump, it is over. He would need to be removed as RNC chair. However, if Priebus is a patriot and puts Romney and Ryan in their place of no man's land then Go Priebus.

That is a good post! Just my POV, but Priebus’ words—Trump will win with or without you—sound a lot more like what Manafort would say than like what Priebus would come up with on his own.

I’m guessing Manafort sat Priebus down and explained that Trump will win, after which it goes very well for those on the Trump train and very badly for those who tried to stop it. That wouldn’t work with Ryan who appears to have limited insights, an outsize ego, and limitless ambition. It would work very well on a lesser figure like Priebus, however.
