Every July 4th, my Dad would make that sheet cake with Cool Whip, that had strawbery stripes, and blueberries for stars.
He was always so proud of that cake, and I always feigned loving it..

Real buttercream, whipped heavy cream, cake from scratch (with BUTTER), etc.
We used to make the Cool Whip version, as kids. Cool Whip is so awful, compared to the REAL thing!!
