Now lets see how this will work.

The Democrats in Trenton have been raiding the Highway Trust Fund since its inception and when it runs low on money the “borrow to invest in infrastructure”, translation...”what can I promise to who to get reelected?”, therefore committing future trust fund money to service the debt and not to maintain the roads and bridges.

I am sure that Sweeny and his boss George Norcross will have the $20 Billion spent before the ink is dry on the new tax bill and I doubt it will be on road & bridge construction and maintenance.

The first massive chunk will go to debt service on what they already borrowed, next come the Law Firms and Investment Houses to finance all the new borrowing, then come all the Christmas Tree items for each hyena in Trenton, that should use up about $15 Billion.

Next comes “Mass Transit”, a black hole money is shoveled into, Wet Lands Mitigation and Green Acres Funding....Finally leaving about $5 Billion for roads and bridges about $250 million a year for the next 20 years...if they don’t find a “more pressing need” like buying votes to get reelected.

Place your bets Ladies and Gentlemen betting on this is like betting on “who gets shot in the Calvary Charge”

I live in New Jersey and have seen this going on for the last 50 years.

New Jersey State Motto: “Where’s mine?”

IDIOTS! So now instead of filling up in NJ to save money while driving through the tiny state of NJ, out-of-state commuters will just fill up in PA, DE, MD or NY. As usual, Democrats think they can just tax people more and spending behavior won’t adapt.

Paging Mr. Trump... Chris Christie just became sinfully toxic in the Jersey/NY/Pa corridor. Do not soil yourself with his presence in your administration.
